About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pensions Implementation Consultant to join our team at Capita Pensions Solutions. As a key member of our Implementation Department, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality pension administration solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead client implementation projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of all project tasks.
  • Requirements Gathering: Drive the gathering and interpretation of client requirements, and translate them into system solutions.
  • Documentation: Produce high-quality requirements documentation and ensure its accuracy.
  • Query Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Client Communication: Lead client meetings and project status calls, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Team Development: Mentor, develop, and coach Implementation Analysts to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to and deliver continuous improvement across the team and wider department.
  • Project Management: Assist in project management activities, including risk and issue identification and mitigation.
  • Training and Support: Facilitate internal and external system training, and provide appropriate documentation.
  • Line Management Support: Provide support to the line manager in the effective management of staff.
  • Technical Development: Support the technical development of our technology platforms through participation in analysis and design, and specification production for new and/or enhanced developments.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Excellent technical pensions knowledge in Defined Benefit schemes and legislation.
  • Communication Skills: Strong client relationship skills, with the ability to use appropriate communication methods with stakeholders.
  • Project Experience: End-to-end experience of the project lifecycle, with the ability to describe the key elements of projects, including initiation, governance, control, and closure.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Analysis Skills: Strong analysis skills and an analytical approach to problem resolution.
