Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Congleton

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Congleton. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting children's learning and development, particularly in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to children with additional needs, including autism, to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Lead groups in engaging activities, such as phonics, reading, maths, and writing, to promote academic excellence.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective learning plans, assessments, and resource preparation.
  • Contribute to the daily running of the classroom, including managing behavior, making resources, and carrying out assessments.
  • Work closely with parents to ensure seamless communication and support for children's needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special needs, particularly autism.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with teachers, parents, and children.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing needs and priorities.
