Main Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of electro-medical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers to resolve equipment-related issues and procure spare parts.
  • Develop and implement test procedures to ensure compliance with manufacturers' recommendations and safe working practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues on the use of medical equipment.
  • Participate in the department's stock control system and ordering of replacement parts.

Requirements
  • Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent acceptable engineering/technical based qualification with relevant experience.
  • Substantial experience in maintenance, fault finding, and repair of electrical and electronic or mechanical and electromechanical medical equipment.
  • Experience in the use of computerised equipment management systems and electronic Test & Measurement equipment.
  • Good technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
