Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our service users. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our service users, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and mobility support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and mobility support.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in complex care.
Requirements:
  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
Desirable Skills:
  • TPN Awareness
  • Enteral Feeding
  • Cerebral Palsy Experience
Working Hours:

We have a range of shifts available, including full-time and part-time nights, with 2-3 shifts per week. Alternate Saturday and Sundays are essential for this position.

Pay Rates:

Weeknights: £14.50 per hour (£145.00 approx. per 10-hour shift)

Saturday & Sundays: £15.00 per hour (£150.00 approx. per 10-hour shift)

Bank Holidays: £17.50 per hour (£175.00 approx. per 10-hour shift)
