About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and personal care.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Conduct regular clinical observations and report any changes or concerns to the care team.
  • Support service users with their personal care needs, including repositioning and transferring.
  • Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
Desirable Skills
  • TPN Awareness
  • Enteral Feeding
  • Cerebral Palsy Experience
Working Hours
  • Full Time and Part Time Nights
  • 2-3 shifts per week
  • 9:00pm - 7:00am
  • Alternate Saturday and Sundays are essential for this position
Pay Rates
  • Weeknights: £14.50 per hour (£145.00 approx. per 10-hour shift)
  • Saturday & Sundays: £15.00 per hour (£150.00 approx. per 10-hour shift)
  • Bank Holidays: £17.50 per hour (£175.00 approx. per 10-hour shift)
