About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at ConvaTec. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our public-facing customer service teams and fast-moving distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for network and infrastructure, including cabling, routing, WiFi, and security.
  • Configure and manage network settings.
  • Set up, manage, and secure servers.
  • Support Windows devices, including laptop and desktop build and support.
  • Install and validate software and applications.
  • Configure and manage phone and mobile devices.
  • Provide application management and guidance.
  • Perform simple maintenance tasks for hardware devices.
  • Provide first-line support via phone and email.
  • Escalate issues to second-line support as needed.
  • Record, document, and report issues and problems.
  • Manage assets and control duties.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, issues, and problems.
  • Provide face-to-face support and troubleshooting for Amcare systems, applications, and hardware.
  • Resolve technical issues effectively and escalate where necessary.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding with technical equipment and requirements.
  • Support 180Medical Technical Leads with local configuration and management.
  • Provide cover for 180Medical staff as needed.
  • Participate in IT projects.
  • Participate in major incidents, problem, and change management and resolution.
  • Ensure minimal technical disruption for Amcare.
  • Ensure data security and GDPR compliance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of IT support experience in a large office environment.
  • Degree in an ICT-related discipline.
  • Demonstrated understanding of best practice (ITIL, Change Management, Service Delivery).
  • Experience with warehouse and distribution center systems (desirable).
  • Experience with public-facing contact centers (desirable).
