Job Summary:
CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to join our team. As a Facilities Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and maintaining the day-to-day operations of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mailroom Management: Handle incoming deliveries, sort and distribute mail, and maintain a clean and organized mailroom.
- On-Site Support: Assist with various tasks, including setting up meeting rooms, ordering stationery, and delivering post around the building.
- Building Maintenance: Report any building defects, complete minor repairs, and ensure the building and environment remain clean and sanitized.
- Emergency Procedures: Ensure emergency procedures are in place and functioning, and oversee building maintenance to prevent any issues.
- Post Room Duties: Assist with post room duties, including photocopying, filing, and posting mail.
- Administrative Support: Provide basic administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and completing tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proactive and Intuitive: Proactive, intuitive, and punctual individual with excellent communication skills.
- Facilities Experience: Experience working in a facilities environment, with knowledge of basic handyman duties and IT proficiency.
- Administrative Skills: Basic administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
