Job Summary

As a Design Engineer II at CPM Crown, you will play a critical role in applying your expertise to design and develop equipment and processes for multiple projects. You will work under general direction to ensure accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop equipment and processes from concept to startup and operation on multiple projects, meeting project timelines and minimizing costs.
  • Perform various engineering calculations and analyses related to process design and equipment sizing and selection.
  • Provide engineering support to customers, Sales, R&D, and Aftermarket teams.
  • Review and perform code calculation requirements for pressure vessels.
  • Assist with training and mentor Level I Engineers.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3-6+ years of related experience.
  • Proficient in:
    • Project Scheduling, tracking, and reporting
    • Piping & Instrumentation Diagram creation
    • Process Flow Diagram creation
    • Pressure vessel design
    • Equipment design
  • Demonstrates professional integrity and ethics.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Required knowledge in AutoCAD.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills.
  • Preferred knowledge in Autodesk Inventor, CAD Vault, ASME, COMPRESS, PED, ASPIN, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
