Job Title: Ambulance Care Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our patient transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.

About the Role

As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Transporting patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families
  • Assisting patients with mobility issues and providing physical support as needed
  • Ensuring the ambulance is kept safe, clean, and tidy at all times
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

  • Have a full UK driving license and a good understanding of the local area
  • Be physically fit and able to lift and move patients as needed
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Pass an Enhanced DBS check
