Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Management Professional to join our Real Estate division in Sheffield. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering construction and manufacturing schemes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Risk Management Processes: Design and implement enterprise, construction, and real estate focused risk management processes tailored to client needs and aligned with best practices.
- Embed Risk Management in Corporate Culture: Articulate and embed the benefits of risk management in our corporate culture, ensuring a top-class service to our existing client base.
- Lead Risk Activities: Lead risk, threats, and opportunity activities to actively manage risk and seek efficiencies across client projects and programs.
- Facilitate Risk Workshops: Facilitate risk workshops with clients and team members of allocated projects to ensure effective risk management.
- Train and Educate: Train clients and the internal organization on risk management processes and practices, ensuring a high level of understanding and adoption.
- Produce Risk Reports: Produce risk reports as required, in a timely manner, to support the effective communication of threat and opportunity status.
- Drive Mitigation Actions: Drive the need and implementation of mitigation actions against associated risks across projects and programs.
- Develop Risk Contingency Processes: Develop and drive efficient risk contingency processes that are suitable with the client's needs and requirements.
- Maintain Risk Visibility: Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget, or retirement of risks.
- Lead a Team of Risk Specialists: Build and lead a team of risk specialists to ensure effective risk management across our projects and programs.
- Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessment: Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels, accountability, and drive mitigation.
- Experience working on Real Estate or Infrastructure projects.
- Preferably with a track record of working on Data Centre's, Life Sciences, Pharma, R&D facilities, Industrial, Manufacturing, Distribution & Logistics projects.
- Must be a subject matter expert with a good theoretical foundation of Enterprise Risk Management and construction.
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
