Job Summary
We're seeking a Senior Risk Management Professional to join our Real Estate division, delivering construction and manufacturing schemes in the UK. As a key member of our team, you'll assist in building a team in our fastest-growing sector, becoming an integral part of our success story.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise risk management processes, tailored to client needs and aligned with best practices, providing a top-class service to our existing client base.
- Articulate and embed the benefits of risk management in our corporate culture.
- Lead risk activities to actively manage risk and seek efficiencies across client projects and programs.
- Facilitate risk workshops with clients and team members of allocated projects.
- Train clients and our internal organization on risk management processes and practices.
- Produce risk reports as required, in a timely manner, to support the effective communication of threat and opportunity status.
- Drive the need and implementation of mitigation actions against associated risks across projects and programs.
- Assist with the identification and development of appropriate management responses, which are measurable and specific, along with assessing the post-mitigated positions.
- Develop and drive efficient risk contingency processes that are suitable with client needs and requirements.
- Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget or retirement of risks.
- Build and lead a team of risk specialists.
- Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels, accountability, and drive mitigation.
Requirements
- Experience of working on real estate or infrastructure projects.
- Preferably with a track record of working on data centers, life sciences, pharma, R&D facilities, industrial, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics projects.
- Must be a subject matter expert with a good theoretical foundation of enterprise risk management and construction.
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
