We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at JMS Midlands, a part of the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of structural engineering projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, promoting JMS's services and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
  • Proven track record of cost estimation and project management.
  • Prior experience working with historic buildings is highly desirable.
