Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at SecureCloud+. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools and other monitoring platforms.
  • Analyse and triage security events to determine their severity and impact, escalating critical issues as necessary.
  • Perform real-time threat detection and response, identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware infections, DDoS attacks, unauthorised access, and other threats.
  • Document incident response activities and create detailed reports for stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a SOC analyst or similar cybersecurity role.
  • Proven experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.
  • Direct experience in incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including network security, endpoint security, identity and access management, and threat intelligence.
