About the Role

Oscar Technology is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Stoke-On-Trent. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for leading security monitoring and analysis, threat intelligence, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Monitoring and Analysis: Analyze security alerts using SIEM tools and other monitoring platforms to identify potential security threats.
  • Threat Intelligence: Perform real-time threat detection and response to mitigate potential risks and ensure the security of our systems and data.
  • Incident Response: Investigate, respond, and document security incidents in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within our SOC processes and suggest recommendations for enhancement.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a cybersecurity or information security environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in network security, access management, and threat intelligence, as well as incident response experience and monitoring tools.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, management, and clients.
