Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the SOC team, providing guidance and support.
  • Developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring and analysing security incidents, ensuring timely responses.
  • Coordinating incident response efforts and conducting post-incident analysis.
  • Identifying vulnerabilities and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a cohesive security strategy.
  • Staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
  • Conducting regular security assessments and audits.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on security incidents and trends.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven industry experience in a similar SOC Manager role or Senior SOC Engineer looking to progress.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
