Reed Accountancy & Finance is pleased to be working with a reputable transport company based in Southend, who are seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team as the company embarks on an exciting period of growth.
This role will play a crucial part in driving profitable growth and ensuring the long-term financial success of the business, as you take responsibility for developing and implementing analytical standards for multiple business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing financial data and preparing reports to inform business decisions.
- Developing complex financial models in Excel to support business planning.
- Assisting in the development of business strategies and plans.
- Performing variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Conducting market analysis and benchmarking to inform business decisions.
- Supporting the finance team during month-end closing processes.
Requirements:
- Strong data management and IT skills, with experience using Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
- Financial modelling experience is essential.
- Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA.
