Position Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Structural Engineering Consultant to become a vital part of our client's technical team, which comprises over 30 professionals. This role will be situated within one of their specialized Structures Teams.

The projects you will engage with are diverse, spanning healthcare, commercial, industrial, residential, and educational sectors, with project budgets exceeding £100 million.

As a key figure in the team, you will serve as a mentor and role model, offering technical expertise and fostering the professional growth of your colleagues.


Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in leading and managing projects of varying scales, including the development of design delivery schedules and a solid understanding of project financials.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a commitment to being a positive influence on team dynamics.
  • Chartered Engineer status or actively pursuing a recognized professional institution training pathway, nearing chartered status.
  • A principled individual who prioritizes ethical decision-making, acknowledges the contributions of others, and celebrates collective achievements. A person who embodies kindness, conscientiousness, and takes pride in their work and the legacy of the engineering profession.
