Position Overview
In this pivotal role, you will be an integral part of our Integrated Governance team, focusing on ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and internal protocols. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating the appropriate use of medications in line with their licensed indications and recommended dosage.
- Leading the formulation of policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) concerning all facets of medication management.
- Contributing to educational initiatives and offering guidance on medicines management training across Connect Health services.
- Maintaining comprehensive records that demonstrate adherence to statutory obligations.
- Compiling accurate data reports for various monthly and quarterly submissions.
- Conducting regular audits, particularly Clinical Audits, and ensuring compliance with both local and national recommendations.
- Keeping relevant policies and documents current and reviewed regularly.
- Overseeing the completion of Patient Group Directions (PGDs) and Patient Specific Directions (PSDs).
- Monitoring key performance indicators as necessary.
- Promoting a culture of learning from incidents throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
We seek a highly organized professional to provide expert advice and leadership in medicines management, ensuring all guidance aligns with legislative standards. You will report directly to the Director of Governance and Risk and will be supported by an Integrated Governance Coordinator to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Desirable
