Site Agent - Water Infrastructure Projects

Our client, a leading UK contractor, is seeking a Site Agent to manage Southwest Water framework projects from contract award through to completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality, safety, and environmental policies are followed while delivering successful financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and delivery of water infrastructure projects
  • Oversee site staff, subcontractors, and report on progress and budget control
  • Allocate resources and manage site staff to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Report on contract progress and budget control to senior management
  • Ensure the implementation of safe systems of work and company safety policies
  • Monitor and enforce quality assurance and environmental systems
  • Provide line management and supervision for Sub Agents, General Foreman, and other site personnel
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding project progress

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Proven experience managing challenging projects with major clients
  • CSCS card, SMSTS (5-day), First Aid at Work (4-day), National Water Hygiene card
  • Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering and construction practices
  • Proven ability to manage a range of infrastructure projects from inception to completion
  • Familiarity with contract management, budget control, and quality assurance systems
