About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Supervisor to join our team at Octavius Infrastructure. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise and manage contract activities on site, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with site management, clients, local communities, and other stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure delivery of a quality product that meets customer requirements and expectations.
  • Resource Management: Maximize project profitability by identifying and recording changes, managing resources efficiently, and closing out defects and deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Team Development: Support and develop team members, sharing best practices and lessons learned across the sector.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a site supervisor, undertaking similar work, ideally in the rail industry.
  • Qualifications: Valid SSSTS qualification (preferably SMSTS or working towards SMSTS), valid CSCS card, PTS (if required), and other identified training.
  • Skills: Good level of IT skills, strong commitment to the Octavius values of integrity, caring, progressive, openness, and quality, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
