We are seeking a Site Operations Supervisor to become a vital part of our Regional Civils division.
Location : Cornwall - Site Based
Contract : Full time, permanent
Salary : up to £56k depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
In the role of Site Operations Supervisor, you will collaborate with the Regional Civils team to successfully execute various civil engineering projects under the Southwest Environment Agency Collaborative Delivery Framework, where Kier serves as the Principal Contractor. Your focus will be on ensuring that Earthworks, Concrete works, and Drainage works are performed with precision, maintaining quality standards, keeping accurate records, preventing defective work, and ensuring timely progress.
Your daily tasks will encompass:
- Delivering work packages according to established schedules and coordinating with operational teams.
- Participating in regular meetings to maintain effective communication, report on progress, identify challenges, and document any changes to the project scope both internally and externally.
- Prioritizing Health and Safety by ensuring all risk assessments are completed and adhered to, in line with Kier's Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Overseeing the coordination of operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers within your area of responsibility, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Guaranteeing that the project is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and achieves high levels of client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
The Site Operations Supervisor position is ideal for candidates who possess:
- A valid CSCS Gold Card and SMSTS certification
- First Aid Training and a strong awareness of Health and Safety protocols
- Familiarity with commercial and temporary works
- Previous experience in a comparable role
- Experience in managing a small team
