We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Boston and surrounding areas in Lincolnshire. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in the classroom, small groups, and one-to-one settings
- Use positive reinforcement techniques and behavior-based instruction to promote learning
- Follow individualized support plans to help pupils achieve their full potential
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, marking, and delivery
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Childhood Studies or TA course)
- Experience working with children with special needs in a primary school setting
- Desirable: Extra SEN training certificates (MAPA, Makaton, Team Teach)
- A genuine interest in supporting children with extra needs
