Join Our Team as a SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Boston and surrounding areas in Lincolnshire. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in the classroom, small groups, and one-to-one settings
  • Use positive reinforcement techniques and behavior-based instruction to promote learning
  • Follow individualized support plans to help pupils achieve their full potential
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, marking, and delivery

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Childhood Studies or TA course)
  • Experience working with children with special needs in a primary school setting
  • Desirable: Extra SEN training certificates (MAPA, Makaton, Team Teach)
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with extra needs
