Role Overview
The primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and guidance to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.


Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' health and wellness across a diverse and evolving caseload.
- Contribute to the provision of care tailored to individual health and wellness requirements.
- Communicate complex, sensitive, or challenging information effectively.
- Enhance personal knowledge and skills while fostering the development of others within your professional scope.
- Advocate for best practices in health, safety, and security.
- Assist in the enhancement and growth of services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold principles of equality, diversity, and patient rights.
- Utilize technology for patient measurement, monitoring, and treatment.
- Recognize the risks associated with Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand your responsibilities in preventing and controlling HCAI.


Candidate Profile
- A Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) is essential.
- Competency in respiratory care and on-call duties is required.
- Proven experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of patient cases.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to apply effective clinical reasoning strategies to complex cases under supervision.
- Postgraduate experience as a Physiotherapist across various specialties.
- Experience in independently managing and prioritizing caseloads.
- Proficiency in orthopaedic physiotherapy is mandatory.
- Competence with Equipment and Medical Devices is required.
- Completion of Mandatory Training, including Infection Control and health and safety.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council is necessary.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional evenings, on-call, and weekend duties.
- Compassion for vulnerable and ill patients.
- Commitment to the principles of equality and dignity in the workplace.
- Membership in the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is preferred.
