Role Objectives: To deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and guidance to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' health and wellness across a diverse and evolving caseload.
  • Support the provision of care tailored to individual health and wellness requirements.
  • Communicate complex, sensitive, or challenging information effectively.
  • Enhance personal knowledge and skills while fostering the development of others within your professional scope.
  • Champion best practices in health, safety, and security.
  • Assist in the enhancement and expansion of services.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at quality improvement.
  • Uphold principles of equality, diversity, and patient rights.
  • Utilize technology for patient measurement, monitoring, and treatment.
  • Recognize the risks associated with Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand your responsibilities in their prevention and control.


Candidate Profile:

  • Possession of a Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy).
  • Competence in respiratory care and on-call duties.
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of patient cases.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated application of effective clinical reasoning strategies in complex cases under supervision.
  • Postgraduate experience as a Physiotherapist across multiple specialties.
  • Experience in independently managing and prioritizing caseloads.
  • Proficiency in orthopaedic physiotherapy.
  • Competence with medical equipment and devices.
  • Completion of mandatory training, including Infection Control and health and safety.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Willingness to adopt a flexible working pattern, including occasional evenings, on-call duties, and weekend shifts.
  • Empathy for vulnerable and ill patients.
  • Commitment to the principles of equality and dignity in the workplace.
  • Membership in the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
