Key Responsibilities- Provide a high level of customer service to patients, relatives, and staff, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
- Assist with the coordination of patient appointments, procedures, and treatments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and staff, using a range of communication methods, including verbal and electronic.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as typing, filing, and data entry, to support the smooth running of the department.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
- Good standard of education, including GCSEs in English and Maths.
- IT qualification or related experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications.
- Experience of working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a theatre department.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, relatives, and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
