The Competence and Training Manager plays a vital role within easyJet, reporting to the Head of Integrated Management and working under the direction of the Director of Safety, Security & Compliance. The primary responsibility of this role is to design, deliver, and maintain the competency and training processes for easyJet's management system, ensuring that the company meets its safety, security, and compliance goals.
This includes responsibilities for regulatory safety, security, and health & safety competencies within the management system. The manager is tasked with driving continuous improvement in management system competencies, ensuring that the training library is current, effective, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training packages to meet regulatory and company requirements.
- Manage projects and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date manuals, procedures, and training resources.
- Produce reports on training status and competency data.
- Deputise for the Head of Integrated Management as needed.
Requirements:
- Expertise in training strategy and experience in designing and delivering training packages.
- Strong visual presentation skills and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Ability to manage projects and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Detail-oriented, capable of identifying key issues, and confident in promoting change and innovation within the organisation.
- Experience in training design and delivery, communication plans, and familiarity with aviation regulations or safety management systems is highly desirable.
