About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Thermal Stress Engineer to join our team at Experis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing complex thermal and stress analyses using finite element and classical methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform stress analysis using advanced finite element and classical book calculation methods, and support testing
  • Conduct heat transfer analysis in practice and theory, including analytical correlations and complex finite element methods, and related topics in thermodynamics, single and multi-phase flows, and energy systems
  • Provide technical oversight to global engineering teams across time zones
  • Ensure project and product compliance
  • Manage risk and perform thermal and stress analysis on turbomachinery, gas turbine engines, motors, and other similar components and systems
Requirements
  • Proficiency in all modes of heat transfer, thermodynamics, thermal sciences, and two-phase thermophysics
  • Proficiency in linear static, nonlinear/elasto-plastic, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, random vibration, and crack growth analyses
