About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Beeby Anderson Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for building services, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of building services engineering principles and practices.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and assess mechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce energy consumption.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and technical reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of building services engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
Desirable Qualifications
  • International project experience.
  • Awareness of UK and International design standards.
  • Proficiency in IES or other dynamic simulation tools.
  • Additional languages, particularly European mainland languages, Arabic, or Mandarin.
