About The People Network

The People Network is a leading provider of innovative Financial Services solutions. We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect - Microservices to join our team and contribute to the development of our new Java & API platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end application and technical architectures for highly concurrent, real-time transactional systems.
  • Develop architectural designs that encompass the target solutions architecture, ensuring security, scalability, performance, and availability.
  • Drive quality through the adoption of standards and best practices, promoting a culture of excellence within the organization.
  • Build close working relationships with engineering teams and the wider technology group, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead architecture and design reviews throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support product management in defining and refining solutions architecture to support new product capabilities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end application and technical architectures for highly concurrent, real-time transactional systems.
  • Strong understanding of conceptual, application, integration, logical, and physical modeling.
  • Ability to analyze and implement solutions to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience in producing low-level software architectures.
  • Deep expertise in Java, API, and Microservices.
  • Experience with modern architectural and delivery standards and methods, including Agile, TDD, BDD, CI/CD automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and develop relationships across all levels of the business.
