Cloud Centre of Excellence Architect

Join the Financial Conduct Authority as a Cloud Centre of Excellence Architect and be part of a team that drives innovation and excellence in cloud computing. As a key member of the Infrastructure Product Group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the FCA's cloud strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of cloud-based services.

About the Role

The Cloud Centre of Excellence Architect will be responsible for:

  • Co-leading the Cloud Centre of Excellence at the FCA, collaborating with stakeholders to drive cloud adoption and innovation
  • Evolving cloud architectural best practices and identifying opportunities for standardizing product capabilities through reusability
  • Working closely with the security team to establish and enforce compliance standards within cloud environments
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and communicating the value and benefits of cloud technologies
  • Collaborating with the Strategy & Architecture team to identify opportunities for platform solutions and products

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a Technical/Solution Architect designing products, platforms, systems, and components on multiple programmes and projects at an AWS enterprise scale
  • Experience operating within or closely with a Cloud Centre of Excellence function
  • Proven experience in successfully implementing new AWS solutions and proven value at a technology delivery level
