About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team at PXP Financial. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for the in-store (customer present area) of our product and service offering. You will work closely with external customers and internal stakeholders to build and analyze proposed business cases, identify the minimal viable product (MVP), and deliver the product together with our development teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with external and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop product roadmaps.
  • Own the product extension from design to go-live, including all supporting documentation (APIs, guides, handovers, training material for various audiences).
  • Organize and conduct regular backlog refinement meetings with the development team to ensure alignment and prioritization.
  • Perform acceptance testing and make a handover to relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth product delivery.
  • Support the commercial team with pre-sales activities, training them about product offerings and providing analysis of competitors' product offerings and costs.
  • Actively participate in high-profile business-critical projects to drive product development and delivery.
  • Build up, extend, and maintain knowledge of best practices for a team of Scrum Product Owners to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Support the Head of Product in defining both the short- and long-term Product strategy to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' Product Development experience in a Financial Services / Gateway / Acquiring or Issuing organization.
  • Experience with payment flows for card present sectors, especially Retail, Food & Beverage, Hospitality & Cruise.
  • Technical competence to influence and understand the solution context and approach, and aid development in estimating the complexity of work being requested.
  • Experience in implementing Lean / Agile product development approaches (especially Build-Measure-Learn, Minimal Viable Product).
  • Fluency in the English language (written and spoken).
