Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Sheffield Outreach. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to adults with varying conditions, enabling them to live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support adults with learning disabilities, Autism, mental health, and physical conditions to develop life skills, engage in meaningful activities, and participate in community events.
  • Assist with personal care, budgeting, shopping, medication management, cooking, cleaning, and attending appointments.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create personalized support plans and achieve individual goals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a support worker role or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, sleepovers, nights, and weekends.
  • Enhanced Adult DBS application required for successful applicants.
