Third-Party Property Damage Investigator

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Specialist to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a Claims Specialist, you will play a crucial role in investigating and resolving third-party property damage claims.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and Assess Claims: Gather relevant information and evidence to determine liability and settlement amounts.
- Liaise with External Parties: Negotiate and settle claims with claimants, solicitors, and other insurance companies.
- Analyze Policy Documentation: Determine coverage and applicability of policies to resolve claims.
- Manage Claims Caseload: Ensure adherence to company guidelines and regulatory standards while managing a caseload of claims.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep up-to-date records of claims activities using our company's systems.
- Experience in Liability Investigations: Prior experience in liability investigations and negotiations, ideally within an insurance or legal context.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to assess claims and determine liability and settlement amounts.
- Exceptional Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Computer Systems: Proficiency in using computer systems and relevant software applications.
