About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer to join our team at Utilita Energy. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of multiple customer-facing and internal systems
  • Work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing your expertise and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of our technology stack, exploring new technologies and integrating them into our existing systems
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality software engineering practices
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a technical lead, with a strong background in C# and.NET technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, including SOLID principles
