About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at SANZA Teaching Agency. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a pupil in KS2 who has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to the pupil with ASC, tailored to their unique needs.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with classroom activities and adapt them to meet the pupil's learning style.
  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop Individual Education Plans.
  • Build positive relationships with the pupil, their parents, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Encourage social interaction and promote emotional well-being.
