About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive community at our exceptional primary school in Haringey.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing one-on-one and small group support, and collaborating with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring students receive tailored support.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable, but not essential.
