This position entails managing the service for 14 hours weekly, complemented by 21 hours of hands-on involvement. You will collaborate with a seasoned service manager to enhance your professional skills.

Position Details:

  • Salary: £25,293 - £28,413
  • Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
  • Contract Type: Permanent

We seek individuals who possess a nurturing disposition and the capability to connect with those they assist. Previous managerial experience is not a prerequisite, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Service Manager:

  • Assisting the Manager in overseeing the team and service operations.
  • Scheduling staff rotas and managing team dynamics.
  • Ensuring adherence to compliance standards within the service.
  • Promoting independence and supporting personal choices of service users.
  • Guaranteeing the safety and well-being of individuals receiving support.
  • Implementing individual care plans effectively.
  • Engaging in community activities and outings.
  • Delivering various levels of personal care as required.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (willingness to pursue Level 3)
  • Experience as a Senior Support Worker
  • Strong resilience and adaptability
  • Essential: Valid driver's license
  • Comfortable with providing personal care
