About the Role:
Glasgow Caledonian University, a leading modern university in Scotland, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic to join our team as a Lecturer in 3D Computer Animation. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery and management of our Applied Computer Games programmes, which include undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach core software development topics such as C#, C++, Artificial Intelligence, OpenGL, Unity, and Unreal Engine.
- Assist in the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research theses.
- Potentially support MSc teaching and contribute to the growth and development of our teaching, research, consultancy, and knowledge transfer activities.
Requirements:
- Education to at least master's level or a bachelor's degree level with a minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience.
- A strong personal desire and commitment to engage in teaching and to contribute to research/consultancy.
