Job Summary

The Asbestos Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in driving the Council's success in meeting its statutory health and safety obligations as a responsible landlord. This position will support the Senior Compliance Manager in continuously striving to improve the safety of its residents, properties, compliance, and stock condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small professional team delivering a technical asbestos service, providing senior management with assurance that known asbestos containing materials within its residential stock are being effectively managed.
  • Ensure and assure robust programs and plans with effective monitoring and management of your team and contractors, based on accurate stock data and information.
  • Develop key performance indicators tailored to deliver results for all parties, focusing on quality data and evidence to support all related activities.
  • Deliver a high-quality asset management service, contributing to a culture of trust, by creating a working environment that is supportive and high performing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the Council remains at the forefront of industry standards.

Requirements

  • Proof of Right to work in the UK will be required for all applicants in accordance with UK Home Office requirements.
