Job Title: Compliance Monitoring Specialist

At Goldman Sachs, we are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Monitoring Specialist to join our Internal Audit team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the firm's compliance with laws and regulations, as well as identifying and mitigating risks.

About the Role

The Compliance Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and assessing the firm's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with financial markets, products, and services.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to develop and implement effective control measures.
  • Performing regular risk assessments and audits to ensure the firm's control culture and conduct risks are effectively managed.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to management on compliance and risk management matters.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years' work experience in a related field, such as compliance, risk management, or internal audit.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, products, and services, as well as regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
