Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Debriefing Driver to join our team at Best Food Logistics. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debrief all drivers returning to the depot, ensuring compliance with all delivery paperwork and financial procedures.
- Complete and send the end of shift report each evening, detailing any issues or concerns.
- Manage the driver debrief database, sending updates to relevant personnel as needed.
- Verify the accuracy of returned invoices and stock discrepancies.
- Liaise with the transportation team to resolve any issues related to failed drops or late deliveries.
- Communicate with drivers regarding Early/Late delivery and non-compliance issues.
- Perform general transportation administration tasks, including supporting Early/Late delivery reporting processes and PDA compliance.
- Ensure driver compliance with returning paperwork, including signed credits and reported failed or late deliveries.
- Conduct daily driver debriefs, providing feedback and communicating with the transportation and Inbound Logistics teams.
- Complete the end of day report, summarizing any notable events or issues.
Working Hours:
This role requires working Saturdays, with a start time of 11am. You may also be required to work on Bank/Public holidays on a rota basis.
