About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trunk Driver to join our team at Best Logistics. As a key member of our transport team, you will play a vital role in achieving our divisional targets by providing a first-class, on-time, and friendly delivery service between depots.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all driving legislation and health and safety procedures while operating a LGV vehicle.
  • Adhere to food safety and chill chain standards, maintaining the correct temperature for each job.
  • Perform regular safety checks on your vehicle, complete defect reports, and ensure accurate paperwork accompanies each trunk.
  • Collaborate with the driver debrief procedure and undertake additional duties as required, such as multi-drop deliveries and yard duties.
What You'll Need:

We require a current LGV Class 1 driving license, and applications from newly qualified drivers are welcome. You will work 40 hours per week, including Saturdays and public holidays, with potential overtime available.
