We are collaborating with a pre-cast concrete contractor seeking to hire a project manager on a permanent basis. This organization places a strong emphasis on customer service and is dedicated to executing projects to the highest standards.
In this role, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from design through to installation. You will be responsible for planning all construction activities on-site, including lift plans, method statements, and site schedules. This position requires regular interaction with clients, as well as coordination with various internal teams and subcontractors.
You will manage your own schedule, visiting multiple sites primarily in the midlands, while also spending part of your week working from home. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site surveys and developing lift plans
- Planning installation activities on-site
- Communicating with clients and on-site teams regarding technical inquiries
- Creating and documenting Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
Candidate Profile:
- Possess valid CSCS, SMSTS, and CPCS (A61) or NPORS (N401) Appointed Person certifications.
- Experience with the installation of pre-fabricated systems (timber, steelwork, concrete)
- Strong communication and IT proficiency
- Excellent organizational skills and practical experience in site-based lifting operations
