About this role
The Community Music Service (CMS) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the team in the use of data. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing databases, adapting them to meet internal and external needs, and undertaking data analysis to inform decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain CMS databases, including the Whole Class Ensemble Teaching database
- Produce reports analyzing data, including pupil and instrument-specific data
- Provide teaching resources, such as registers, transfers, and facilities management
- Organize events, including booking concerts with schools and issuing instruments
- Assist the Head of Service with the Business Continuity Plan
- Develop systems for financial data assessment to support funding applications
- Attend meetings and take minutes as required
- Support the workloads of other office colleagues and provide cover for reception duties
About you
You will have experience working in an office environment and be able to work within defined timelines to ensure compliance with government surveys and Arts Council England surveys. You will be a strong team player with the ability to support colleagues when required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
