About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at MTrec Technical. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for working on planned and breakdown maintenance on a range of machinery associated with production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and breakdown work on production equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and take corrective action to minimize downtime.
- Work on PLC diagnostics and ensure smooth operation of production equipment.
- Work 3 shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts.
Requirements
- Time served multiskilled with a mechanical bias.
- Strong hydraulics experience and knowledge of hydraulic systems.
- PLC experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work 3 shifts, including day, evening, and night shifts.
- Previous manufacturing or engineering sector experience preferred.
