Role - SAP TRM Solution Architect
  • 10+ years of experience in two or more SAP modules or submodules.
  • At least four full life-cycle implementation projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live) with tax authorities.
  • Expertise in SAP Activate Methodology, ASAP, SCRUM, Waterfall, and integration between modules and systems.
  • Ability to work in both pre-sales and implementation teams with a consulting mindset.
  • Interpret customer requirements into SAP functionality, identify fit/gap, and provide technical solutions.
  • Lead detailed module-specific Explore sessions and use Service Marketplace to create tickets, research notes, and provide guidance to customers.
  • Expert knowledge in multiple modules of SAP and multiple industry experience.
  • Great understanding of industry trends and thought leadership.
  • Exposure to new technologies of SAP and willingness to develop niche pointed solutions.
  • Explore new sales leads and identify industry-relevant business challenges.
  • Excellent understanding of customer processes and identify bottlenecks.
  • Communicate with customers confidently and convince/coach clients on the most appropriate solution.
Responsibilities
  • Undertake and own the Solution Architecture of multiple modules to ensure integration of systems, processes, data preparation, and migration.
  • Total ownership for the entire solution design and solution delivery, including customer engagement.
  • Provide strategy for various phases of the Projects (when, what, where, how, and why).
  • Guide the project team for open issues or processes and ensure optimized processes.
  • Support Project Management (PMO) in building the project plan, resource estimation, and monitoring progress.
  • Understand customer processes, business challenges, SAP processes, and architecture issues proactively.
  • Support Project Management (PMO) for scope creep, impact analysis, and effort requirements.
  • Communicate and conduct periodic Project meetings to ensure the overall solution is well-designed and delivered.
Pre-sales
  • Lead and participate in global Pre-Sales activities.
  • Prepare various artefacts/assets/presentation slides to support the sales team.
  • Understand customer processes and prepare the Scope of Work (SOW) and effort estimation.
  • Lead customer interaction for the entire Solution Platforms and engagement perspective.
  • Accountable for building the SOW by bringing in activity level planning and visibility.
  • Lead the Proof of Concept (PoC) and conduct demos to various Clients.
Practice Responsibilities
  • Participate in peer reviews and share feedback with the Practice Head and relevant Project Managers.
  • Follow up with project peers and ensure feedback is incorporated and monitored.
  • Actively participate in TRM Practice activities, particularly PoC build, Knowledge Management (KM), and re-usable build.
  • Lead the TRM Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Support Practice Head on strategy activities, including recruitment drive and regular interviews.
  • Be responsible for transforming TRM consultants to be the most talented pool by actively coaching, mentoring, and role modelling.
  • Create training material for the TRM Academy.
  • Proactively inform the Practice Head on slips in the projects and seek intervention.
  • Proactively seek additional support within the TRM Practice on knowledge gaps.
Education
  • BA/BS in computer science, business administration, or related fields. MBA, MS preferred.
