We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our team at Jacobs Defence and Security. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for delivering architectural design, assessment studies, and technical documentation through all RIBA stages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of architectural design, assessment studies, and technical documentation through all RIBA stages
  • Technical and professional guidance, support, and development of the necessary design work
  • Communication and coordination with other design team members
  • Assisting in the delivery of complex design projects
  • Attendance of technical and non-technical meetings to report and present technical issues
  • Adherence and contribution to business and quality management systems, operational and design safety, and developing a good safety culture

Key requirements include:

  • Broad experience in industrial and/or highly regulated design sectors
  • Good all-round technical design expertise to British and international regulations and standards
  • Experience in the preparation and delivery of drawing packages and key project deliverables
  • Ability to lead design aspects of projects, including managing quality, budget, programme, and resources
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
  • Good level of proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a wider understanding of BIM Level 2
  • ARB Registered
