About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to lead our Digital Pathology scanning operations. As the Digital Pathology Scanning Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate digitization of patient slides, contributing to the advancement of diagnostic capabilities within our Histology Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily maintenance and operation of slide scanners, guaranteeing optimal performance and high-quality scan outputs.
  • Supervise and guide a team of scanning technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient workflow.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of digitized slides, adhering to established laboratory protocols.
  • Collaborate with Histology staff across various sections, including Special Techniques, to support the seamless integration of digital pathology into our workflows.
  • Contribute to the training and development of trainee Biomedical Scientists and MLAs in digital pathology techniques.
