Radiography Lead

About the Role:

Cobalt is seeking an experienced radiographer to lead and deliver high-quality CT and MRI services at our Quayside Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of imaging services, promoting a culture of excellence, and contributing to the development of our staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the imaging centre, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality control programs, perform daily quality control system checks, and maintain records.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
• Participate in the on-call rota for breakdowns and staffing at the imaging centre.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a radiographer, with a strong background in CT and MRI scanning.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
• Knowledge of quality standards, including QSI and ISO accreditations.
