Golf and Turf Machinery Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Golf and Turf Machinery Technician to join our team at Balmers GM Ltd. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellent maintenance and repair of our customers' golf and turf machinery.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with plant, truck, motorcycles, farm machinery, forklift trucks, or ground-care machinery. You will be required to undertake diagnostics and repairs, as well as servicing and maintenance of our customers' equipment. You will also be responsible for mentoring apprentices and trainees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on golf and turf machinery
  • Undertake servicing on machinery as specified
  • Complete all work to the highest standards in the workshop and on-site
  • Undertake training to develop skills and knowledge
  • Mentor apprentices and trainees
Requirements:
  • Experience working with plant, truck, motorcycles, farm machinery, forklift trucks, or ground-care machinery
  • Ability to undertake maintenance and repairs using special tools and equipment
  • Experience and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work as a team or individually
  • Self-motivated, good communication skills, and a willingness to take on new challenges
  • Full UK driving license required
